Vehicle Crashes into Crowd in Central Berlin, At Least One Fatality

A vehicle rammed into a crowd in central Berlin near Breitscheidplatz on Wednesday morning. This is reported by various German media.

 

At least one person was said to have been killed and thirty people were injured.

Police say it is not yet clear whether it was an intentional act or a traffic accident. The suspected driver was arrested at the scene.

It is not yet clear what type of vehicle is involved: it is a truck, but that information has not yet been confirmed.
