Private Driver Drags Donald Trump to the Judge for Unpaid Overtime. The man who served as Donald Trump’s private driver for twenty-five years dragged the US president to court.
According to Noel Cintron, his overtime hours were never paid out, he was skimped on his health insurance, and he received only twice a wage in fifteen years.
Cintron (59) requires the Trump Organization to pay 3,300 hours of overtime, converted well for about $ 178,000. “Donald Trump and his companies have exploited me for years, without even showing a minimal courtesy,” Cintron writes in the indictment.
It is not the primary time that the real estate magnate and billionaire are being sued in court by a former employee who complains about an alleged breach of contract or poor working conditions.
Earlier, some gardeners and electricians also started a lawsuit against Trump. Last year, a judge required the luxurious Trump golf resort in the state of Florida to pay an outstanding bill of more than $ 32,000 to a painters company.
‘Cintron was paid well, as the law also requires’, says a spokesman for the Trump Organization at the news agency Bloomberg. “When the facts come up, we expect nothing more than that the court gives us all the same.”
However, Trump’s private driver claims that he had to work up to 55 hours per week and that every working day starts at 7 o’clock in the morning.
“President Trump’s harshness and greed are apparent from the fact that he is a billionaire, but his driver has given no meaningful store for twelve years,” writes Cintron.
