Poland has reported a record number of new corona infections. Another 680 people have been diagnosed with the infectious virus.
The death toll from the epidemic increased by 6 to 1738.
A total of 48,149 corona infections have been reported in the country.
The authorities are considering taking new measures to prevent further spread, such as mandatory corona tests for travellers returning to Poland.
