Anyone who comes close to the US President or Vice President is tested for coronavirus in advance. The White House announced this.
For example, Donald Trump and Mike Pence must be kept healthy.
“The White House doctor must ensure that the President and Vice President remain healthy.
That is why today we start testing everyone who comes close to one of them. We want to minimize the risk of infection,” he said—the White House in a statement.
Trump has already been tested twice for the coronavirus. Both tests were negative. Pence was tested once and he also turned out not to be infected with the lung virus.
