Obama: Trump Incited Violence at the Capitol

Former President Barack Obama believes that Donald Trump is partly responsible for the Capitol outbreak on Wednesday.

 

According to Obama, his successor prompted the people. In a statement, Obama points to the baseless lies by Trump about the result of the presidential election.

Obama calls the storming of the Capitol “a disgrace” to the United States. “But we would be kidding if this comes as a surprise.”

The former president is calling on the Republican leaders to make a responsible choice. “They can continue to follow this path and keep burning fires.

Or they can choose reality and take the first steps to put out the fires. They can choose America. . ” Obama also praises the Republicans who loudly condemned Wednesday’s events.
