The pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca vaccine is entirely reliable and offers sufficient protection against almost all variants of the dreaded coronavirus.
This was emphasized by the French Health Minister Olivier Véran during his own vaccination with the vaccine in Melun, southeast of Paris.
The vaccine is suspected in various countries, partly due to lack of information, that it may not be suitable for the elderly and may not work against variants of the virus.
Véran is fighting that Monday, just like the British minister responsible for the vaccination program, Nadhim Zahawi. He said that everything indicates that the reliable vaccine works well, also against new variants of the coronavirus.
The ministers responded to a decision by the health authorities in South Africa to temporarily stop using the AstraZeneca drug because it may not work well against the virus variant that dominates there.
