Joe Biden, the upcoming president of the United States, will announce the first names of ministers he wants to have in his administration on Tuesday.
Biden previously promised to form a government that reflects the diversity of his country. He has already elected a finance minister, and he said last week.
Bloomberg news agency reported based on insiders that Biden plans to appoint his old adviser Antony Blinken as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Biden’s Chief of Staff Ron Klain declined to specify which positions will be filled first.
Biden will be sworn in on January 20. Current President Donald Trump has still not acknowledged Biden’s victory.
The Trump camp has filed dozens of lawsuits in several states, but Trump has been unsuccessful in almost all cases so far.
