Italy can vaccinate 10 million people per month from Easter. The director of the Italian drug agency AIFA Nicola Magrini calls this in the newspaper Corriere Della Sera the beginning of large-scale vaccination against the coronavirus.
It is expected that 7 million people will be vaccinated by April.
The vaccination campaign started around the turn of the year and, as in many European countries, is slowly getting underway.
About 60 million people live in Italy. The coronavirus has been diagnosed in more than 2.6 million people, and the recorded death toll is 91,580.
