According to the president, the Iranian anti-aircraft guilt statement is “a first step in the right direction”. Several people have already been arrested.

Over the past three days, thousands of Iranian residents have come to the streets to demonstrate against the aircraft crash’s approach.
President Rouhani may want to take the pressure off the statement.
