They are considered guilty of being involved in two deadly attacks in Tehran in June 2017, the Mizan agency reported on Sunday. These were the first attacks claimed by the Sunni IS in Iran.
On 7 June 2017, seventeen people were killed in attacks against the parliament and the mausoleum of Ayatollah Khomeini in Tehran.
Five attackers were killed on the spot, and in the following weeks, several people were arrested who were speculated of embroilment in the attacks. According to Mizan, there are a total of 26 accused in the file.
