At the Grand Prix of Monaco in Formula 1 on May 23, 7500 spectators are welcome. The government of the principality has determined that.

Visitors must submit a negative corona test in advance. “It is important that we keep the race with a limited number of visitors as well as strict hygiene regulations,” said Minister Pierre Dartout.

The race on the street circuit was cancelled last year due to the corona pandemic. The year before, Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) was the fastest. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) finished fourth.

The Formula 1 race in Monaco is the fifth race of the season.
