The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Germany has increased by 436 in the past 24 hours to 216,327, according to data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) for infectious diseases.
That is a further decrease compared to the days before.
On Sunday, the RKI, the equivalent of the Dutch RIVM, reported 555 new infections and on Saturday 1122 positive tests.
In the last 24 hours, one person in Germany died from Covid-19. Twelve deaths were reported on Saturday and eight on Friday.
A total of 9197 people died in Germany from the effects of the coronavirus.
