The 27 EU leaders will hold another summit via video link on the corona pandemic on January 21.
EU President Charles Michel will lead the meeting on coordinating the fight against Covid-19, his spokesman tweeted.
The 27 have been discussing the pandemic more often since German Chancellor Angela Merkel suggested that they learn from each other’s experiences and set the clocks in October.
Prime Minister Mark Rutte and his colleagues acknowledged that they could have worked better together in the outbreak of the virus in the spring.
At their last physical meeting in Brussels in early December, leaders asked the European Commission to work out how they mutually recognize each other’s corona test results.
They also want to cooperate more in providing vaccination certificates and withdrawing travel restrictions if the corona pandemic permits.
