Epstein Case: Jury Continues Deliberation on Guilt of Ghislaine Maxwell on Wednesday

In the high-profile abuse trial against Ghislaine Maxwell, the jury will deliberate on Wednesday whether the British socialite helped her ex, the late billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, to recruit underage girls, whom he then sexually abused.

 

After a first working hour on Monday, the twelve jury members sat together behind closed doors all day on Tuesday. No unanimous decision has yet been reached.

There will be a hiatus from Wednesday night until Monday before Christmas. Still, Judge Alison Nathan will suggest that the judges also meet on Thursday, December 23, to deliver their verdict before the holidays.

The jury must decide whether 59-year-old Ghislaine Maxwell is guilty of six felonies, all related to sexual abuse committed between 1994 and 2004 by Jeffrey Epstein on four victims, who were minors at the time and who testified during the three-week trial…
