EasyJet Continues to Renew Fleet With the Purchase of 56 Airbus Aircraft

British low-cost airline EasyJet plans to further renew its fleet. The airline announced that it has ordered 56 new aircraft from Airbus.

 

These are aircraft of the type A320neo that will be delivered between 2026 and 2029. The purchase of the aircraft is part of a long-term agreement between easyJet and Airbus.

In addition, easyJet chose to change the previous order of eighteen A320neo aircraft to eighteen A321neo aircraft. The new planes are to replace older planes in the low-cost airline’s fleet.

The new boxes are more economical and cheaper to use.
