British Count Nearly 13,000 Corona Deaths, 106-Year-Old Healed

The British counted 761 corona deaths in hospitals in one day. The total number of coronavirus deaths thus rose to nearly 13,000.

 

It is the second most affected country worldwide after the United States, Italy, Spain and France.

The actual number of deaths must be higher because people also succumb to corona in nursing homes and elsewhere.

Just under 100,000 people have now been tested positive, the authorities report.

Among the patients who have been cured is a 106-year-old woman.

She was allowed to leave the hospital. British media suspect it is the oldest British patient to defeat the coronavirus.
