1,255 corona deaths have been reported in the United States in the past 24 hours. This is evident from figures from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
The daily death toll is just over 300 deaths less than a day earlier when 1,561 deaths from the coronavirus were recorded.
According to official figures, 94,661 people have died of the virus since the start of the corona outbreak that it is the highest death toll in the world.
More than 1.5 million infections have been detected in the country to date.
President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that all US flags at US government buildings would go at half-mast for three days to commemorate the victims of the lung virus.
